This one combines several photographs and one pencil drawing - the only thing that's not a photo is the humming bird in the upper left corner. Believe it or not the borders are photographed patterns on some various tapestries. The text is real - and I invite anyone who knows ancient Japanese to read it.
I'm actually not quite sure myself - I'm not very good at reading the calligraphy style that was on the scroll. I just think it adds to the myster of the piece.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
